Terms of Use

These terms inform visitors about data content on TrendEdge.ai, registration data, access to TrendEdge.ai, and the policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.

TrendEdge Terms of Use

Last revised: 18 December 2025

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrendEdge (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who we are and how to contact us

The Service is operated by:

Alt Q Technology Ltd (company number 16900659)Address: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United KingdomEmail: support@trendedge.ai

2) Definitions

  • “Content” means all text, charts, AI scores, predictions, alerts, data summaries, research outputs, and other materials made available via the Service.
  • “Subscription” means a paid plan that renews at the billing frequency shown at purchase (monthly/annual unless stated otherwise).
  • “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

3) Eligibility and your account

  1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity on your account.
  3. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

4) What TrendEdge is (and is not)

  1. The Service is a quantitative research and market-data tool.
  2. Not financial advice / no personal recommendations. The Service does not provide investment advice, and nothing on the Service is intended as a personal recommendation or as being suitable for you or your circumstances.
  3. You remain solely responsible for your investment decisions and should obtain independent professional advice if you need it.

Buy / Sell / Hold labels (informational only)

  1. If the Service displays labels such as “Buy”, “Sell”, “Hold”, “Strong Buy”, “Strong Sell” (or similar), these are general, model-generated classifications provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or a personal recommendation, and they are not an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other financial instrument.
  2. These labels are not personalised to you and do not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, risk tolerance, or portfolio composition. You should treat them as research inputs and conduct your own analysis and verification (and, where appropriate, seek advice from an authorised financial adviser) before making any investment decision.

5) Regulatory status (UK users)

  1. We are not authorised or regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  2. The Service is provided for informational/research purposes only. You should not assume you have the same regulatory protections that apply when dealing with an FCA-authorised firm.

6) Simulated trading, AI Track Record, and performance information

  1. Mock trading and simulations are hypothetical. Any mock portfolio, simulated P&L, or performance outputs are hypothetical and do not represent actual trading.
  2. Simulations may not reflect liquidity constraints, slippage, spreads, fees, taxes, execution quality, or market impact.
  3. No promise of results. We do not represent that any user will achieve profits or losses similar to those shown in simulations or any “AI Track Record” presentation.

7) Third-party data and services

  1. The Service may incorporate data from third parties (for example: exchanges, social platforms such as Reddit, analytics providers, and other sources).
  2. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. We are not responsible for third-party outages or errors.
  3. Links or integrations to third-party services are provided for convenience; your use of them is governed by their terms.

8) Intellectual property and permitted use

  1. The Service (including all algorithms, models, scoring systems, methodologies, software, design, and Content) is owned by or licensed to Alt Q Technology Ltd and is protected by IP laws and trade secret rights.
  2. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
  3. No scraping / no harvesting / no reverse engineering. You must not (and must not attempt to):
    • use bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, or automated scripts to extract Content or data;
    • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code, models, or underlying logic;
    • republish, sell, sub-license, or commercially exploit Content or outputs without our written permission.
  4. If you breach this section, we may immediately suspend/terminate access and pursue remedies.

9) Acceptable use

You must not use the Service:

  • unlawfully or in breach of any applicable regulations;
  • to mislead others, impersonate, or interfere with the Service;
  • to upload or transmit malware, or attempt unauthorised access;
  • in any way that materially harms, disrupts, or overloads our infrastructure.

10) Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

  1. Pricing and taxes. Prices are shown at checkout. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
  2. Payment processing. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe).
  3. Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the then-current billing period.
  4. How to cancel. You can cancel in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period (unless consumer cancellation rights apply under Section 11).
  5. Price changes. We may change prices, but we will give reasonable notice. The new price applies from your next renewal unless you cancel.

11) UK consumer right to cancel (important)

If you are a Consumer and you buy a Subscription online, you usually have a legal 14-day right to cancel starting the day after purchase.

11.1 Starting access immediately (waiver for digital content/services)

Because the Service is supplied immediately after signup, by completing your purchase and starting to use the Service you agree that:

  • you request immediate access to the Service during the 14-day cancellation period; and
  • you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once digital content/performance begins (where the law allows).

Operational note: implement a checkbox at checkout capturing the above consent + acknowledgement.

11.2 What happens if you cancel within 14 days

  • If you cancel within 14 days and you have not started using/accessing the Service, we will refund amounts paid for that purchase.
  • If you cancel within 14 days after you have started using/accessing the Service and you provided the consent/acknowledgement above, you may not be entitled to a refund (where permitted by law).
  • Nothing in these Terms limits your rights if the Service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, is not as described, or other statutory remedies apply.

12) Refund policy (outside statutory cancellation rights)

  1. We do not offer discretionary refunds for partial periods, change of mind after the cancellation window, or unused time, except where required by law.
  2. If we make a refund, we will refund to the original payment method where possible.

13) Suspension and termination

  1. For cause. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you have:
    • breached these Terms (especially IP/scraping/abuse);
    • used the Service unlawfully; or
    • created security, operational, or legal risk for us or other users.
  2. For convenience (rare). If we stop providing the Service generally, we will give reasonable notice where practicable. If you have a prepaid period, we will handle any remaining value fairly and in line with applicable law.
  3. On termination, your licence ends and you must stop using the Service.

14) Warranties and disclaimers

  1. The Service and Content are provided “as is” and “as available”.
  2. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate, complete, timely, or profitable.
  3. You understand markets are risky and you can lose money.

15) Liability

15.1 What we do not limit

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15.2 Consumer users (UK)

If you are a Consumer, we are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for losses that are:

  • not foreseeable; or
  • caused by events outside our reasonable control; or
  • caused by your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

15.3 Business users (non-consumer)

If you use the Service for business purposes, then to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, and loss of data; and
  • our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in that period, or (b) £100.

16) Indemnity (business users)

If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against losses arising from your unlawful use, breach of these Terms, or misuse of the Service (including scraping and unauthorised redistribution).

17) Privacy and cookies

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy:https://trendedgeai.com/privacy

18) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., in-app notice or email). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

19) Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you are a Consumer you may also be able to bring claims in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.

20) Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights/obligations as part of a reorganisation, sale, or asset transfer.
